Broken out-of-the-box on MacOS MBP M5 Max - Harper highlights do not align with words. Cannot trigger popups.#3785
Describe the bug I have a brand new MacBookPro M5 Max, running Tahoe 26.5.1 (25F80) and Harper Version 2.6.0 (2.6.0). I have preformed a fresh install of Harper.
When working through the Getting Started steps, I have launched TextEdit and attempted to follow instuctions:
Open TextEdit, type "its not alot of fun", and watch Harper underline the mistakes.
In TextEdit and other apps, the Harper highlights do not align with words. They appear very low and almost offscreen. I am unable to click on these highlights to get the Harper modal windows.
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behaviour:
- Perform a fresh install of Harper 2.6.0 on MacOs Tahoe
- Attempt to follow firsttime instructions
- Note the observed behaviour in TextEdit and other apps
Expected behavior Harper should function as designed
